Willamette Valley Medical Center is excited to welcome Audrey Dawson, M.S., CCC-SLP, MBA, as a full-time speech therapist. With more than 11 years of experience in skilled nursing facilities and as an on-call provider, Dawson brings valuable expertise to WVMC’s speech therapy program, which serves both inpatients and outpatients.
Dawson earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from West Virginia University. Her passion for the field was sparked by a personal experience: witnessing a family member regain lost abilities through speech therapy. This transformative moment inspired her to shift her academic focus from forensic chemistry to speech pathology, a decision she is grateful for. "This is a wonderful career, and being in McMinnville is a dream come true," Dawson shared.
