Willamette Valley Medical Center Publishes 2025 Community Benefit Report

April 21, 2026

Willamette Valley Medical Center today published its community benefit report for the 2025 calendar year. This annual report outlines the various ways the hospital is working to support the health and economic vitality of McMinnville and surrounding region as part of its mission of making communities healthier®.

“As a trusted community leader, we advance our mission by caring for our patients, investing in our region’s health, and working every day to make our communities we serve stronger,” said Dewane Pace, CEO. “This year’s report highlights our continued commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care close to home.”

WVMC’s 2025 community benefit report highlights its continued efforts to meet the growing healthcare needs of its community through welcoming new providers, adding and expanding service lines and continually investing in its facilities and healthcare technology. For example, in 2025, WVMC added providers in OB/GYN, orthopedics, behavioral health, hospital medicine, pediatrics and emergency medicine and made nearly $3 million in capital improvements.

Additionally, WVMC provided nearly $9.1 million in health services to those in need, demonstrating its continuous commitment to ensuring everyone has access to care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Willamette Valley Medical Center is also devoted to creating environments where providers want to practice and employees want to work. In 2025, the hospital distributed $65 million in salaries, wages and benefits for its approximately 570 employees; while contributing $93 thousand in professional development and tuition assistance so all its employees can have the opportunity to learn, grow and improve the care they provide their patients.

Last year, the organization paid $11.7 million in local and state taxes, while also continuing its support of local activities and organizations committed to serving the region, including Habitat for Humanity, Henderson House, Chemeketa Community College, and Unidos Bridging Community and many others.

“We are proud to call McMinnville and Yamhill County our home and feel truly privileged to contribute to its well-being. We are also thankful for the hard work and dedication of our providers, employees and volunteers who make it all possible,” said Pace. “As we look ahead to the future, we are so excited to continue improving the way we serve our neighbors and communities.”
