Willamette Valley Medical Center and McMinnville Garden Club to Dedicate New Serenity Garden

Willamette Valley Medical Center and the McMinnville Garden Club invite community members, partners, donors, and local leaders to celebrate the dedication and ribbon-cutting of the new Serenity Garden, a tranquil outdoor space designed to support healing, reflection, and connection. The ceremony will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 9:45 a.m., in the Serenity Garden located behind the medical center.

The Serenity Garden represents the shared vision of the McMinnville Garden Club and the many individuals and organizations that contributed their time, talent, and resources to bring the project to life. Support for the garden was made possible through generous community donors, the City of McMinnville, and the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership McMinnville Class of 2024.

Created as a peaceful retreat for patients, families, visitors, and staff, the garden offers a welcoming place to pause, reflect, and find comfort during life's most challenging and meaningful moments.

"This garden is a beautiful example of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose," said Dewane Pace, CEO of Willamette Valley Medical Center. "The Serenity Garden will serve as a lasting gift, providing a place of peace, healing, and hope for all who visit our campus."
