On June 1, 2024, the Yamhill/Polk Counties Dairy Princess Ambassador, Cydney Stables, made a special visit to the Willamette Valley Medical Center to deliver a beautiful gift basket to the first baby born in June. This delightful surprise is a cherished tradition of the dairy princess program, where gift baskets filled with cow-themed goodies are donated by the Yamhill/Polk Counties Dairy Women to the first babies born in June at local hospital birthing centers.
Princess Cydney expressed the joy of continuing this tradition, bringing smiles to the faces of the Kuust family who welcomed their little girl into the world Saturday. Nurses Michelle Beeby, Susan Arnholtz, and Cindy Bell joined in the celebration, sharing in the happiness brought by this thoughtful gesture.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Princess Cydney and the Yamhill/Polk Counties Dairy Women for their generous and unexpected act of kindness, making a memorable start for new families in the community.
