Acute Care Services and Surgical Services Welcomes New Leaders
McMinnville, OR (5/28/24) – We are pleased to announce two significant leadership appointments within WVMC.
Zachery Woodruff, RN - Director of Acute Care Services
Zachery Woodruff, RN, has accepted the role of Director of Acute Care Services. Zac will be leading our Medical-Surgical team and the Hospital Supervisors. His journey with WVMC began nearly 13 years ago, and his career trajectory within our organization has been nothing short of exemplary.
- 2011: Started as a night shift CNA.
- 2012: Transitioned to an RN role. Progressed through roles of Charge Nurse, Hospital Supervisor, and Assistant Manager.
- 2020: Became Interim Co-Director of Acute Care Services.
- Most recently serving as the Lead Hospital Supervisor.
Throughout his tenure, Zac has demonstrated remarkable character, professionalism, and dedication. He has been instrumental in fostering an environment that upholds our values and prioritizes patient care while being a strong advocate for our staff. We are confident that his leadership will continue to drive our Acute Care Services to new heights.
Lindsay Chambers, RN - Surgical Services Director
Lindsay Chambers, RN, will be stepping into the role of Surgical Services Director. Lindsay joined WVMC two and a half years ago and has since led the Catheterization Laboratory, Short Stay, Endoscopy, and Preadmission departments with distinction.
Throughout her career, Lindsay has played a pivotal role in educational initiatives and brings a wealth of surgical experience and over ten years of leadership expertise to her new position.
Lindsay's enthusiasm and seasoned experience in surgical services positions her up perfectly to navigate and guide WVMC through 2024 and beyond. We are excited about the fresh perspective and energy she brings to our surgical team.
